Your Good Works volunteers completed another successful event Wednesday night at Solid Ground (fka Fremont Public Association). For their Lettuce Link program, we repackaged bulk seeds into take-home packets for their clientele. It was a fun and educational job, and our productive assembly line of CPCUs out –performed their seed packaging expectation by three to four times.
Per their website: "Each year, more than 55,000 King County residents come to Solid Ground to address urgent food, transportation and housing needs, and build skills to overcome poverty and thrive."
Volunteers are heavily relied upon, and we had a great time helping out. Information about the Lettuce Link program can be found here: https://www.solid-ground.org/volunteer-with-lettuce-link/
