Session Description - The only constant is change. Keeping in touch with familiar hazards, let alone the newest, is daunting. Individual risks at a location level might not cause huge concerns, but extrapolated over an entire book can lead to company-killing loss experience. How can you stay ahead of this changing environment? This session will focus on the latest trends and emerging risks within the P&C industry and what impacts it may have on policyholders.

Learning Objectives -

Focus on key emerging risks (such as home care facilities and cannabis), highlighting what impacts they represent and where coverage may be triggered.

Discussion of already occurring risks that are changing (i.e. catastrophe amplification) and how to address.

Sharing key data sources underwriters and company personnel can review to understand changes in the market.
